Why we now operate without an office

The pandemic was obviously an awakening. We saw what emergencies like these can do to businesses dependent on in-person interaction.

But also, it was time to strike a better balance between work and health.  I knew that someday I would need to consider the amount of tax season working hours “chained to the desk”.

For those reasons, we changed our tax business model to operate without an office, working primarily by mail or digital. Our goal is to have a more reasonable schedule AND a business model that isn’t ground to a halt when the next crisis arises. 

Currently we are about half and half digital to tax by mail clients.  Whichever way works better for you is good with us.  Planning and questions are done easily and privately by phone or Client Hub messaging.  

We hope you will find working by mail or digital convenient and efficient.  Many have told us they miss the in-person visits, and we do too, but working the tax business this way has been a great help.
